Re-branding & distinction set the tone of this historic site, featuring the Guinard Mansion 1917 in the heart of the campus. This renovation project was a high collaboration between the architect design, preserving historic details from the mansion and threading them through the new details of the construction to tie the past and future together.
During construction there were a lot of “unknowns” which were fielded by the interior design team. On-site initiatives and changes to original design and millwork were shifted quickly as and sketched in the field, in collaboration with the contractor. This helped the Owner and Architect make quick decisions, bringing everyone together in agreement to help keep scheduled moving, with no major delays. Preserving our concrete concepts and ideas drove the interior changes so nothing strayed from design intent, keeping design function & beautiful.
